Seventy pieces shot over two days in natural light against a neutral backdrop, delivered ready for the site, the printed catalogue and social.

The challenge

Pieces made by hand, one at a time, photographed on a phone on top of a workbench. The clay looked grey and the shapes were lost against the background.

The approach

I set up a simple studio in the pottery itself, using window light and a neutral backdrop. Two days of shooting, with the same camera height for every piece — that's what makes a catalogue grid look composed.

The outcome

Seventy pieces with consistent colour treatment, delivered in formats for the site, for print and for social.
